Landfill waste will be cleared and used mixed with normal daily generated waste as a feedstock in our new Recycling & Gasification plants sited on or close to the Kpone Landfill site in Accra and also Kumasi Landfill sites
After years of deposition the % plastic content increases due to organic matter being degraded
The higher the Calorific value the higher the energy generation
It is now possible to mix the waste and use it for increased Recycling & Clean energy generation.
Gasification can be as much as 45% more efficient & 50% less cost than Incineration
and will produce1.299 Million MWh of much needed electricity generation per year from all ten plants
The new Gasification & Recycling plants will take both daily generated waste & landfill waste
These plants will enhance the work of the current Strategic Waste Management company and increase collection rates and result in ZERO waste to Landfill, complementing their Compost & Recycling initiatives in Ghana.
The End products of this waste is Clean - Green energy, glass, ceramics, metal and small amount of ash
The ten Gasification plants will produce typically 1.299 Million MWh each year of Renewable Electricity for Ghana
We will ensure ZERO waste goes to the landfill sites from our plants as new products are made from typically the 100 tonnes per day of glass & ceramics, 100 tonnes per day of ash from the ten plants,
Circular Economy in action
ZERO waste goes back into the landfill sites - will typically have 100 tonnes of metals from the ten plants are resold for reuse in manufacture of new products
PSECC Ltd recommend New products to be made such as building concrete blocks for house building or road building material from the typically 200 tonnes of ash & glass each day from the ten plants
100% Reuse & Recycling
This is our vision for Ghana and we will work very closely with the Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources together with a Strategic Waste Management company if we are selected.
This is a $950 Million project
