The Gasification & 100% Recycling plants
Cleanest form of waste-to-energy
This is Gasification & Recycling and not Incineration - we are 45% more efficient than incineration
ZERO Waste - ZERO Landfill - Kumasi & Accra - WTE Waste Management Ghana Limited is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) company to take forward the project with a Strategic Waste Management company in Ghana. Circular Economy...
This could make a reality of President's Akufo-Addo's Vision & promise to Make Accra and Ghana the cleanest in Africa - Alset Power Company Inc in the USA is being considered to provide to a Strategic Waste Management Company in Ghana & the Government in a Joint venture (JV) 100% Recycling, Reuse, Waste-to-Energy, ZERO to Landfill & Full Funding.
We can now increasingly help with Sustainable Waste Management in Ghana with their Ten new Gasification & Recycling plants, fleet of 400 Heil Trucks & 1,000 Gas-powered Rickshaws - this project facilitated by PSECC Ltd & assistance with Knowledge Transfer $950 Million project
Our possible vision for Ghana - We have been advising the Government of Ghana since 2017. The Honourable Cecilia Abena Dapaah, Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources and her Ministry has been advising us on the way forward and our proposals have been under review since August 2020 following on from our meeting in February 2020. This has been a four-year development programme so far. On the 12th August 2020 we gained support from the Sanitation Ministry that our proposal is being reviewed. Negotiations with the Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Sanitation, Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Finance now have brought us to the stage of Negotiations with a Strategic Waste Management Company Zoomlion in Ghana to form a Joint Venture (JV) going forward with them and their development programme announced in 2020.
Our vision - Collection of MSW in all Villages, Towns and Cities in Ghana - Residential Cities, Streets, Beaches, Rural and Commercial - ZERO to Landfill
Gasification in general is 45% more efficient and 50% less cost compared to Incineration
Producing 1.299 Million MWh each year of Renewable Electricity for Ghana & a Net Zero approach
Assisting Ghana to meet Climate Change Mitigation targets and the Paris Agreement
2,400 jobs created - management, technicians, engineers, Drivers, labourers and security
Full funding provision of $950 Million Bilateral USA Government to Ghana Government - US EXIMBANK, no Sovereign Guarantee, IMF exempt
The Debtor for the Funding is Alset Power and not the Government - The Government partly own & receive revenues from each plant
PPA - Power Purchase Agreements & Landfill tax/ Polluter Pays principal will pay for the plants
ZERO Waste ZERO to Landfill
Six plants for ACCRA & four plants for Kumasi - Taking the waste to the new Gasification & 100% Recycling plants (Gasification typically produces syngas for electricity production & typically 150 tonnes of glass & 150 tonnes of metal recycled each day from MSW) with Waste-to-Energy Gasification using all the plastic in energy generation to increase the Green Energy requirements for Ghana
ECG or Private Off-Taker agreements will be in place for PPA's
Mixing landfill waste with daily generated waste as a feed-stock to the new plants to increase Recycling
Building blocks manufactured for House Building
ZERO waste ZERO Landfill - We eliminate the landfill so no waste goes to the landfill. The Landfill waste is also mixed with daily waste generated as a mixed feedstock into our plants. Over time the Landfill site is cleared.
Electricity is produced and 100% Recycling of glass, metals, ceramics and ash.
We are ZERO waste and ZERO landfills.
Prevent waste being generated by Reuse, Reduction, Recovery then 100% Recycle, Energy Recovery and ZERO to Landfill
Helping to keep all our Beaches clean and free of waste
Use this waste - Circular Economy
Gas turbine (GT) OEMs have been racing for decades to deliver bigger machines, higher efficiency and larger combined cycle plants. Siemens scored a world record with a 4,800 MW combined cycle plant in Egypt (Turbomachinery International, Nov/Dec 2018).
GE and Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems (MHPS) both claim to have the biggest GT. GE’s 9HA.02 comes in at 557 MW, while MHPS’s M701JAC provides 563 MW. GE, Siemens and MHPS all claim the world record of combined cycle efficiency.
Siemens will build the Gasification plants - Help with Sustainable Waste Management in Ghana with our Ten new Gasification & Recycling plants and a fleet of 400 Heil Trucks & 1,000 Gas-powered Rickshaws. ZERO to Landfill & 100% Recycling
Energy systems are changing – fundamentally and fast. The importance of individual energy sources and options for power generation are changing, as are the ways in which electricity is transmitted and distributed. Power generation is becoming more and more decentralized making grid management complicated
The steady increase of distributed energy systems, the integration of renewable energy sources, and aging grid infrastructures can prevent the safe and reliable supply of power. Power producers, grid operators, power utilities, industrial companies, and municipalities can manage tasks economically .
We love our customers and Ghana so Let's move Forward together with ZERO waste to Landfill & a Circular Economy
